Folk Art by Jackie Delker

The first thing you notice when you enter Hodge Podge is Jackie Delker's art on the wall as you step through the shop's front door. Jackie is a self-taught folk artist who loves color and whimsy. She lives in Monroe and stops by the shop often to bring in new pieces for sale. A  sample of her paintings are shown below, including the portrait she did of shop owner Deborah Boyd.

Elvis Has Left The Building

Elvis wold have loved this sofa with its amazing art deco lines. Surrounded by a fine collection of brightly colored paintings, it is a great spot to sit and visit when you come to Hodge Podge. Our ice water jug by the front door is always full and a great thirst quencher on hot days! The sofa and art work are in the walkway between the shop and our new expansion. Come and sit a spell!

Emily and Sandra looking for the perfect Eclair! I don't think there is a funnier painting around. This one fills most of the wall and is directly across from our Elvis couch. Full of fun graffiti, you will talk about it for days to come.

Our expansion is filling up with wonderful treasures. Be sure to check out Gypsy Lace Boutique, for made in U.S.A. vintage boho sundresses, prom dresses, and lots of lacy frocks from the 1970's to the 1990's. Plenty of great accessories, including cowboy boots, vintage Mexican tooled leather handbags. The shop is full of great jewelry to give your outfit a one-of-a-kind special look!
